Expanded University - Early Expanded Universe Author L. Neil Smith Has Passed Away

One-time Star Wars author Mr. Smith authored around 30 books in his lifetime. He was a staunch libertarian in life and in his work when many or most science-fiction authors and franchises were heading in the opposite direction. He wrote Star Wars novels Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu, Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon, and Lando Calrissian and the Starcave of ThonBoka. His North American Confederacy series is perhaps his most well-known work. Libertarian science-fiction will not be the same without him, but it will live long because of him.
