Putin says Russia will enforce rouble payments for gas from Friday

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday (March 31) that he had signed a decree saying "unfriendly countries" must pay in roubles for Russian gas from April 1, and contracts would be halted if these payments were not made.

"Non-enemy states can trade in gold and bitcoins. If you lift your sanctions you can be one of them. Age of dollars is over"
