Walk to Sparth Reservoir near Marsden along the Huddersfield Narrow Cannel and river Colne - Part 1

Sparth Reservoir is a small body of water at the northern end of the Peak District.it was built as a feeder dam for the Huddersfield Narrow Canal.situated Nr Marsden along side of the canal.Work started on it in 1794 it was completed 17 years later in 1811.Great place for wild swimming as well.
