Prayer For My Children

Glory, to the Lord God in heaven

For the love that You show me

For the Light that You are

God, you are my Father

My protector when I’m weak

You held me, through the darkest of nights

Showed me compassion, when I deserved wrath

Lord God, You are my Saviour, the one and only true Father of Light

Please guide me, as I walk through the valleys and shadows of death

Help me, to be like the father that are to me

Lord keep my children, safe from the night

Protect them, from the devil’s grasp

Help them to follow, the ways of Truth

Make sure they listen, when You speak

Pour out Your Glory, upon their heads

They are Your children, and You their Father

So hold them Your Arms

Lord God, You are my Saviour, the one and only true Father of Light

Please guide me, as I walk through the valleys and shadows of death

Help me, to be like the father that are to me

I pray Lord, I beg Your mercy

For the sins that I commit

Help me to shine Lord, show the world Your love

The world is so dark, the enemy closing in

Your children need You, to be a lamp at their feet

Show them the way Lord, wash over them

Send forth Your angels, to fight away the dark

Lord God, You are my Saviour, the one and only true Father of Light
