This is my original song called Rise Again. A very positive mental health song about recovering and overcoming intrusive thoughts and the very serious subject of suicidal ideation. You can overcome it and you do have the power to rise above. We are better than that, its about how I was never alone and Jesus connected with me in the darkest moments of my life.

I used to stumble over and over,
Felt like relapse, Would keep pulling me under,
Not this time,
I found I could walk on the water,
Sickness disappeared,
Cursed demon
mental illness,
It faded away when I called it out by name,

Self hate tries to crash on me,
Self love this is determined to be,
I set my self free from the bondage that I’ll always be sick,
