Ukrainian protesters have been filmed shouting at armed Russian soldiers to “go home”.

The scene was captured in the city of Melitopol on March 2, just days after it was taken by Russian forces.

The video, filmed by Twitter user @yuricom_25, shows a group of Ukrainian protesters shouting across the road to where several armed Russian soldiers are positioned.

They chant phrases which include: "F*** off! F*** off! Go home! Go home!"

"Leave our native land. What have you come for?"

"Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!"

"You bring death! Shame!"

The protests grow more and more impassioned as they move closer to the soldiers. But they fail to provoke much of a response as the soldiers remain firmly in position.
