This includes access to medical doctors, dentists, dental assistants and hygienists, midwives, chiropractors, naturopaths, optometrists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, massage therapists, acupuncturists, Chinese medicine practitioners, speech pathologists, audiologists, psychologists, dieticians, pharmacists, and social workers.

The government’s mandate to all private sector healthcare workers does not just impact a small number of unvaccinated professionals. Office function will be severely disrupted and some will even be completely closed. This will cause a ripple effect onto hundreds of thousands of people, and disproportionately reduce healthcare access in small communities.
