Do we really need to celebrate St Valentine

Do we really need st valentine's day to celebrate the love we have for our spouse, our boyfriend/girlfriend?
Today, all over the world, people are buying flowers, alchool, chocolate , condoms to celebrate what they claim is love.
In a world so confused and totally messed up they insist that what they worship today is love,,
But LOVE is not lust, LOVE is not sin, LOVE is not debacuhery and fornication!
Love is pure, love is kind, love is gentle, love is self-sacrificing!
