So long and thanks for all the Phish. It was nice blowin' ya...away. I mean knowing you this way. You know...alive. As if we haven't been through enough the last few years, it looks as if WWIII has arrived. And just in time to unite the (or ignite) the human race, once and for all.
The 1960's generation thought they could end war forever. Liberals at the turn of the 20 century though we we could possibly evolve beyond such brutal, primitive behavior. But alas...the human race is a dumbass monkey troupe, and follows whoever they perceive to be alpha into whichever morass of deadly dumbphuckery they are led into.
Those of us that are awake and aware don't have time for denial; we need to analyze, strategize, and catalyze, whatever response we can muster. This is not Vietnam. Protesting in the streets will do jack shit to stop this. We need to take care of our own. We need to allow our leaders to rise to the top organically, like cream, and create pockets around the world.
For years I've wondered if the paradise that I've intuited was the destiny of mankind wouldn't have to wait for the violent, mindless, sleep-walking, constituency of humanity to wipe itself out before the Utopia could arise. And it increasingly appears to be the unavoidable scenario. We cannot hope for post-COVID normalcy. We need to start thinking like Native Americans, and start trying to engineer a future for our ancestor seven generations from now. We are One Consciousness, so we will all be there. We only have to weather a bit of a storm first. For maybe a century or two. So, for now, lets hang out and find some joy, consider some alternative possibilities, and try to kindle some hope.
