Dozens of Canadian truck drivers blocked the highway near the U.S.-Manitoba international border on Tuesday (Jan. 18) to protest against a COVID-19 vaccine mandate.Highway 75

The drivers are protesting against Canada’s new COVID-19 vaccine mandate for truck drivers, which came into force on Saturday (Jan. 15). The U.S. plans to have a similar mandate come into effect on January 22.
