How the octopus walks on the sea floor

Octopuses have 8 arms (not tentacles) with suckers in the form of concave spheres on the arms that are used to move on the sea floor and catch prey. The octopus arm is a muscular hydrostatic structure consisting almost entirely of a layer of muscle without bone or exoskeleton. Octopuses move by crawling or swimming. Octopuses just crawl and swim a little if they want to move slowly and only swim if they want to move fast. Octopuses can move very quickly when they are hungry or when they are in danger. Oxygen levels in the blood are estimated to be only around 4% so that octopuses have low stamina which consequently harms the life of octopuses in the wild.
