Indoor Golf on the simulator

In an attempt to stay sharp, I try to make it to the simulators at Avalon Lakes once a week. A couple things I have been working on here. Maybe what I am working on can help your game too.

1. Being VERY deliberate with the static fundamentals. Those are the grip, stance, posture, alignment, etc. If any of these are off and you’re judging the result, how do you know truly whether it is the swing motion if any of those are in incorrect spots?

2. Tempo and the pause at the top. So I like most golfers tend have too quick of a tempo. This causes the sequences of the motion to overlap. This also relates to the pause at the top. Being too in a hurry to hit the shot causes all sorts of problems throughout the down swing and leads to compensations leading to inconsistencies.

Here I am hitting a pitching wedge for the first set and a 7 iron in the 2nd. You can see where the club change hopefully this can help your game. If not, well enjoy the sound of the strikes with forged irons!
