Stocking 3 Inch Rainbow Trout in a Perfect Montana Pond - From Hatchery to the Water

We stock 2 to 4 inch Rainbow Trout in a Private Pond in Montana. We built what we think is a perfect trout pond, introduced a food chain including freshwater shrimp, and put the fish in the pond when there is enough food for the trout to thrive on.

Be sure to subscribe to The Wildlife Channel for future videos showing how big the fish grow. This is a new pond, so there is no competition for food from other fish. Private ponds in the vicinity of this pond have grown 10 pound trout when freshwater shrimp are available.
