We have a broken criminal sentencing system. In 2019 Rogel Aguilera-Mederos failed to control the semi he was driving and caused an accident that killed four people and injured six more. While a tragedy, Colorada criminal sentencing guidelines imposed a mandatory 110 years on Aguilera-Mederos. While his judgment failed him before the accident, does the deserve what's essentially a life sentence?
