The book of Nehemiah is guidance for how we are to react to the destruction and decay we see in society. We must repent, fight, and build. God is already at work building for the future; however, whether you will be involved or not has to do with your personal level of commitment to Christ and His kingdom. Compromised Christians and those who pursue vainglory will have ill and null effect. God will accomplish his purposes in the earth, with or without you.
