In this Shroud of the Avatar gameplay video, my Avatar found some scarecrows in South Quel Woods. Later, a giant killer scarecrow appeared and killed my Avatar.

GIANT KILLER SCARECROW

My Avatar went to South Quel Woods with the intention of gathering wood and other resources but, instead, my avatar spent a good amount of his time fighting ruffians, wizards, spiders and others.

South of South Quel Woods, my Avatar found a farm with a few scarecrows. The scarecrows were flamable. Touching them ignited them into flames.

Later, a large number of fire elementals and spiders appeared from out of nowhere but they were not the biggest problem. The biggest and scariest problem appeared after them and it was a giant killer scarecrow.

As the one controlling my avatar, I have no idea how to fight it and my avatar was not built nor equipped for combat. He was at South Quel Woods to gather wood and other resources.
