20211108 Investigating Nothing - The Daily Summation

You may think otherwise (if you do, I'm perspective, you're confused), but in general you should AT LEAST SUSPECT the commission of a crime, BEFORE you start an investigation.

When I hear of cases (like what happened to Dinesh D'Souza, or the January 6th folks), where the investigation starts FIRST and the crime appears to be decided later down the line, you can be sure I see that as something that doesn't pass the "smell test."

Worse yet, when you have someone who appears to have done something REALLY MINOR, and is held behind bars for excessive amounts of time.

Imagine, you find yourself in holding somewhere for ALMOST ELEVEN MONTHS, only to have people leveling charges of TRESPASSING against you.

You may think it's reasonable to use such tactics against "enemies."

For my part, I may not like you AT ALL, but if you've done no wrong, it's NOT appropriate to treat you as I've watched others treated.

That's what made me want to discuss investigating nothing, on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
