JFR Lunatic Torch Visionaries Cigar Review

This 6.5x52 stick features a dark cocoa wrapper with a shaggy foot, firm even pack, oily toothy feel, minimal veins, tight invisible seams, triple cap and a raisin and dark cocoa aroma. First light reveals a perfect draw with thick full bodied notes of deep earth and cocoa. The first third grows in complexity as soon as the wrapper joins in with a bold earth, pepper and slightly sweet plum mix all on a long finish. The 1/2 way point comes at 40 minutes coming down to medium-full and adding a leather to the mix. The last third ended at 1:15 with a hot squishy nub with no further changes.
