Thousands of protesters marched against the latest government COVID-19 restrictions in Ljubljana on Wednesday.

Police deployed a water cannon and tear gas after hundreds stormed a dual carriageway.

Slovenian authorities temporarily suspended the administration of Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 jabs on Wednesday following the death of a 20-year old who fell sick earlier in the week after receiving the vaccine.
