Hello, my name is Vie and I would like to talk to you about the ayurvedic aspect of yoga energy’s 200 hour and 300 hour teacher training. I am the lead instructor for the ayurveda part of it.

I have graduated from Dr. Lad’s Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico training extensively with Dr. Lad and the Mount Madonna college of Ayurveda in California. Some of my teachers have been David Frawley, John Douillard, Claudia Welch, Dr. Singh, and I was even taught how to do the agnihotra from Ellie Hadsall.

I have been teaching Ayurveda for over 15 years now. The way I teach Ayurveda is a little different than the modern ayurveda. Having learned from all of those people and different aspects of ayurveda, I am able to bring ayurveda into everything you do in your life. It’s way more than an ayurvedic diet or just food. It is how to use ayurveda as the greatest self improvement science in any aspect of your life.

Ayurveda as it was written initially by Charaka is a lifestyle and a science. Charaka defined ayurveda as a desire for health, a desire for wealth, and a desire for the other world. I like to say that ayurveda is an art and a science. It’s a complete system, that’s where the science is, it has full building blocks, but it is also an art.

So it can be brought into anything and everything. It doesn’t matter what your environment is or where you live. It gives you everything you need to adapt into whatever your environment brings to you. Real ayurveda doesn’t discuss changing your environment. Real ayurveda teaches you how to thrive in your existing environment.

Again, ayurveda is the greatest self improvement science because it is the greatest self-empowering science. We talk about ayurveda in both our 200 hour and 300 hour teacher training programs. Our 300 hour goes extensively into ayurveda. Our 200 hour is less than $400 and our 300 hour is less than $500 and you get to keep all the material for life. So for less than $1,000, you can have a full 500 hour teacher training program that is yoga alliance registered.
