It's an important consideration. It doesn't matter WHY they did what they did.

Were the weapons (and more importantly the PEOPLE) left in Afghanistan not deployed (or in the case of the arms and equipment DESTROYED) by accident, or on purpose?

What I'm getting at here is, regardless who stands to gain (or lose) out of the actions of the administration and those in their employ who left people and other "assets" behind could've just done some horrible bungling.

Then again, their actions may have been out of malfeasance, or some other intentional play or ploy.

Where I understand that benefits to the military industrial complex may be a "motive," in my mind intent must be proven before worrying about that.
