Wilmington schools close due to shortage of bus drivers
Kentucky's Republican lawmakers are getting their chance to shape the state's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They reconvened Tuesday for a special session expected to last at least five days. Wilmington City Schools were closed Tuesday due to a shortage of bus drivers. Superintendent Mindy McCarty-Stewart said the increase in absences was a combination of COVID-19 and non-COVID-19-related illnesses.
