The Firefly Aerospace Alpha rocket explodes 2mins after lift-off on Thursday
AT the SLC-2W launch site at the Vandenberg base of the US Space Force, the Ukrainian-American private company Firefly Aerospace, with negative success, launched an Alpha rocket with the DREAM or FLTA001 mission.
"Alpha experienced an anomaly during first stage ascent that resulted in the loss of the vehicle" - the company stated.
