As a police officer, you are human and you are not just some robot that is unaffected by the job and rarely makes calculated mistakes. My gosh, I've made plenty of mistakes.

But the unfortunate thing is, some events like the dehumanizing of George Floyd have really soured the barrel when it comes to public perception of us. Yes, most people know that there are more good cops than bad cops, but it's up to us to do what we can to repair what we can, get help when we need it, and push forward.
