How I'm Teaching My Dogs To Swim

So, as many of you saw on Julian's vlog channel last week, we had a little bit of an accident.

Permit was pursuing a squirrel when he skidded on the deck park next to our pool and fell in. It didn't seem hilarious at the time. Julian came to his rescue. He was in the water. He has a basic understanding of how to swim. It's suddenly rather amusing. However, after that, everyone suggested that you try to teach them to swim. They know how to swim as if it were a survival skill. But I think I've never tried to teach them to swim because they don't much appreciate being in the water. They have demonstrated no desire to enter. They'll sit with you if you're floating on a raft, for example. They enjoy it, but what about swimming? They aren't really water dogs. I'd love to be able to help them learn to swim.
