We have so many photos collected on our phone from over the years. So many that we forget what is on there

All it takes is a moment to trigger our thoughts to bring back a memory and then search for the photo

Our photos are not us, and the same for our thoughts. We often get caught in our thoughts and those feelings can come flooding back.

Like the phone, become the observer of our thoughts instead of getting consumed by them

On social media we offer select the best photos, we can do the same with our thoughts, we always have a choice of what to think of

We often delete photos that we unlike or are a waste of space. Many of our thoughts are a waste of energy. Delete these by focussing on others

We also have many photos that are related to bad moments, we keep them still to share as stories or for teachings. We can do the same with our bad thoughts to.

Our past does not define us, it’s gone. The only thing that does define us is our feelings and by finding the positive and teaching in every thought, we can bring our self back to the present moment and observe our feelings

We are not in control of our thoughts, they come and go. We are in control on what we focus on which keeps us in control of our feelings
