Lawrence Scheele has been scouring the ocean floor off the coast of the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia and came across a cute looking string-armed octopus.

As the name suggests, the ocean critter extended it’s tentacles to get over and around the rocks and coral in the sand.

This species is rare and was trying to hunt with it’s noodle-like arms, with a tasty crab in it’s sights.

Lawrence said: “This octopus usually goes unnoticed as it spends most of its life in underground dens/tunnels and only comes to the surface to hunt during low tides.
