Melania Trump Fashion Icon - Commemorating 100 years of American Women's Suffrage
The commemoration ceremony of the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which granted American women the right to vote, was held in the Blue Room of the White House, on August 18, 2020. For the occasion, First Lady Melania Trump continued with her summertime tradition of wearing white, with an aptly chosen suffragette Michael Kors assymetrical skirt-suit. She paired it with a gingham Michael Kors belt and matching gingham Manolo Blahnik stilettos.
Mrs. Trump previously wore the skirt-suit when she welcomed Emmanual and Bridgitte Macron of France to the White House on April 24, 2018. The matching gingham belt and stiletto heels were previously worn by Melania Trump when she landed in Brussels, Belgium on May 24, 2017. The look is classically elegant, yet bold and edgy. First Lady Melania Trump is truly the top fashion icon of our time.
