Police Questioned Murder Suspect (Body Language)

Rumble Of all the BODY LANGUAGE indicators available, this one is often the most ambiguous. People hold their arms behind their backs for a number of reasons which can range from a sign of power and respect (military), dating cuteness, a leisurely stroll, and more. However it's what they do with their HANDS that tells the true purpose. ABOUT THIS MAN: you may not be able to see it in this clip but he was just questioned by police about a brutal murder in which he is the lead suspect. This clip was captured as he walks out of the police station. IN THIS SCENARIO, he starts walking more confidently as to not to show fear BUT, when he puts his arms behind his back, his HANDS are writhing. He is trying to pacify or comfort himself because he is very nervous. And he should be. That afternoon DNA results came back, the grand jury chose to indict, and he was arrested the next day. He is currently serving 25 years. So when you see this behavior (arms / hands behind back), it is very important to check out the hands too!

This is from one of the "Cold Justice" episodes with Kelly Siegler and Yolanda McClary
