When you are trying to solve a word problem, most of the work is usually trying to figure out what math to do. So in this video, I go through a three-step process for doing just that! Here are the steps:
1. mark the text
A. circle the numbers (and variables)
B. underline the context (the few words before and/or after each number)
C. box/highlight what they want
2. draw a picture
A. graph it
B. make a table
C. label an existing picture
D. redraw an existing picture
E. make several pictures out of a larger picture
3. start somewhere!
If you want the full context of the steps and how to use them, just check out the video. Have a blessed day!
