Thomas Jefferson was a man of many talents and interests. Toward the end of his life he created what was basically his own Bible version. He attempted to harmonize the Gospels and fix what he believed were later changes to the texts. He removed references to miracles, the supernatural, and any references to Jesus' divinity and His resurrection. The results he called 'The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth,' but became popularly known as the Jefferson Bible.
