Cat going crazy with Catnip
Catnip, it’s an old human acquaintance. To give an idea, records show that it was already used in ancient Rome, but at this time it served mainly as a seasoning of meats.
Its scientific name is Nepeta cataria. Originally from Europe, it became popularly known as catnip - or catnip - thanks to the special effect it produces on these pets.
