When You’re Trying To Chill But Mom Is Having A Mental Breakdown!
Kelly McArdle, 24, filmed this video of her dog, Bailey, on December 4, 2020 in her home.
Bailey has an autoimmune disease known as Extraocular Myositis. It describes the inflammatory process affecting the extraocular muscles in dogs, which results in the "startled expression". Bailey's eyes were particularly swollen when this video was taken, but Kelly tries to make light of it all.
In the video, Bailey looks around stunned as mom is 'distraught' singing the Kelly Clarkson song, "Because of You". Bailey is just trying relax!
"Bailey's expression speaks for itself in that when you hear the sound playing in the video, you completely understand how she is feeling!" said Kelly.
Bailey is a two year old female Black Mouth Cur and Labrador mix. Her eyes are now healthy after two months of treatment!
