I am Portia Beaulieu, 27, Alberta Canada. I have not been in touch with the salon since the video, I would have taken legal action against them as it destroy mental health
I went to a hair salon to get lighter hair , they put highest bleach level in my hair and put me under a dryer for 45 minutes making my head scalp burn and my ears burn. I ended up in hospital to seek further help .
I just want to make people aware not to use heat with bleach. Instead of me taking legal action I ended up paying $20 for a $200 blow dryer but that didn’t make up the thousand I spent getting my hair back to normal including a $300 wig and extensions
