He did not sacrifice his life for justice

Sacrifice is the act of willingly giving up something that is of value to that person in order to help someone else. George Floyd did nothing of the sort. If Floyd hadn’t passed a counterfeit $20 bill the police would have never been called, and he would have quietly died in obscurity from the lethal amount of meth-amphetamines, fentanyl, and other narcotics he had ingested. That doesn’t sound like Floyd had any intention of making a sacrifice for justice to me. In fact I would say that it sounds more like the selfish and careless behavior of an addict.
