Just In: Pelosi Halts #SCOTUS Packing for Now - But Why?

In breaking news this morning, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has said that she would not support the court-packing initiative that a group of Democrats is pushing for, which was to expand the number of judges in the supreme court from 9 to 13.
In a press conference, Pelosi said that she currently has “no plans” to bring the bill to the floor and that she “doesn’t know if that’s a good idea or bad idea,” adding that it’s “not out of the question” for the future.
Now Pelosi’s objection is obviously bad news for those on the left seeking to expand the courts in order to push through radical policies fast. So the question becomes, why is she against what seems to be an extremely big political advantage for the democrats?
We probably won’t find out the exact answer for now, but there are few things we can conjecture on that might give us a vague idea about what they’re planning to do behind the scenes.
