On this National Medal of Honor Day, U.S. Army Central reflects on our 26 warriors inside our Hall of Heroes in Patton Hall on Shaw Air Force Base, S.C.. The first Medal of Honor was awarded on March 25th 1863 and now stands as the National Day to recognize the selfless sacrifices and personal courage of our military members.
