Military attacks Tucker Carlson, faces public outcry; Pelosi blames climate change for border crisis
Fox host Tucker Carlson and the military have been engaged in a heated war of words. It started with Carlson ridiculing the Biden admin and the military’s new “maternity flight suits”. The military, interpreting these words as an attack against them, immediately jumped up and shot back.
The military’s tweets received widespread public condemnation for their suggestions that a media figure or civilian could not criticize or comment on military affairs without being attacked or ridiculed by the military — an undermining of the American principle of civilian rule over the military.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has invented a new theory, saying that the illegal immigration crisis at the southern border is the result of climate change. Pelosi said climate change has led to a surge in migrant children crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. And the numbers she said were very different from the official numbers.
