Temperatures fall into the teens to near 20 degrees tonight with mostly clear skies and relatively calm winds. Highs will be back in the lower to mid 40s with winds picking up out of the south to southeast around 5 to 15 mph with mostly sunny skies. The big warm-up is going to start mainly on Monday and last into Thursday where we'll have plenty of 50s & yes, some 60s. Temps will be 25-35° above normal! With snow melting and river levels rising slightly, having no rain is beneficial to keeping the flooding threat low. Ice jams would be the concern right now as the ground continues to thaw. The dry weather will continue until Wednesday when a soaking rain is likely. Some rain showers may linger into Thursday morning, but clearing skies are anticipated during the second half of the day. Temperatures are going to cool back down into the lower to mid 40s for Friday and Saturday. Long range temperatures forecasts show cooler weather for the second half of the month with lots of lower to mid 40s. The average high temperature by the end of the month is 46.
