The government announced a second stimulus check for those that made under $75,000 in 2019 or $150,000 as a married couple. For a lot of us, that is going to be unexpected money we can put to good use. Here are some ways you can spend it for the better.

Number 1: Investing
Whether it be real estate, stocks, or another investment vehicle that you prefer, putting money in a place where it can grow is always a good decision. I recommend talking with a professional in a specific industry about what your options are when it comes to investing.

Number 2: Bills
I live in the midwest. $1,000 can get me pretty far when it comes to my bills. I am single with no debt, so I can stretch that $1,000 to cover a lot. Depending on where you live and if you have dependents, the check won't go as far... but it's better than nothing.

Number 3: Business Marketing
If you own a business, building a profitable marketing system is incredibly important. Adding $1,000 to the budget can be a quick way to triple or quadruple the money. Watch the marketing videos on this channel to see how to stretch that $1,000 as far as possible.

Number 4: Education
The fastest way to increase your income if you don't want to run a business is to get a higher paying job. Getting some form of education is important in doing so. Personally, I wouldn't recommend college (but you can use the money to pay student debt if you have it). There are a lot of affordable online classes to teach you new skills.

Number 5: Rainy Day Fund
If you don't necessarily NEED the stimulus money, you can always save it for a rainy day fund. Personally, this is probably what I'll use it for. I recently cracked my windshield, so a portion of that money would be a perfect car maintenance use.
