May 26, 2017: For a state visit to Sicily, Italy with President Trump, FLOTUS arrived at Chierici Palace, a historic site in Catania, as part of a visit of the G7 first ladies and broke the internet in a breathtaking, garden-esque Dolce & Gabbana floral coat with multicolored silk flowers draped over her shoulders and covering a simple ivory dress by the same designer. The jacket retailed for $51,500. She paired the outfit with bridal-inspired fabric heels. The 3D floral jacket wasn’t even in stores yet, but sold out on the luxury retail site Moda Operandi after Melania wore it.
