POSSESSION ORDERS & CHILD SUPPORT OBLIGATIONS DURING COVID - In today's episode Bryan and Sam continue their discussion of COVID-19's impact on family law, including the continued application of possession orders and the importance of complying with those orders except in the case of demonstrable risk to your child(ren), the continued efficacy of child support obligations despite possible reductions in wages, the importance of initiating child support modification reviews in the event you've incurred a loss of wages, a reminder that the only person who can modify a possession or child support order is a judge, and an encouragement for all parties to go out of their way to put children's needs first and work as responsible and understanding co-parents during these tumultuous times.
