I noticed when we first got Chihuahuas that they do a courtesy, as a social body language. I’ve never seen a dog do this before. The Chihuahuas do it for mostly the same reasons that we humans would do a courtesy: to say hello and to express appreciation love or difference. They will sometimes put their Ford power extended onto you to “touch you on the shoulder” to further show that they love and care about you.
