Celebrity Mayor Pro Tem Faces Backlash

Rumble — Former UFC Champion, #TitoOrtiz, was elected last November as the Mayor Pro Tem of #HuntingtonBeach, California. But now his city council colleagues are trying to remove him from the post—over not wearing a #mask. The city council meeting ended without proceeding to a vote and Tito finally kept his Mayor Pro Tem title. But the supporters outside of the civic center believe this could be a wake-up call for residents who are not paying attention to local politics.
