Here's a video tour of a 2-story Manor House, used years ago to house servants, that I stayed in, with my girlfriend Raegan, in Picuaville, France. At the time, we were traveling through France and Germany, hitchhiking and taking trains, and using Couchsurfing.com and wwoof.net as an inexpensive way to travel.
We found this place, the Manor House, via www.wwoof.net website, and applying for a live/work position at the Chateau 'il Marie, a chateau (castle) some 50 yards away. We stayed here for 33 days and it was amazing.
