President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump exited the White House at approximately 8 a.m. They left for President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach. President Trump said to reporters outside White House: “I just want to say goodbye, but hopefully it’s not a long-term goodbye. We’ll see each other again.”

The day before President Trump gave a 20-minute farewell speech to people across the country. Millions of people watched his speech live online. He has not lost his confidence and his faith in America. He hopes that we all keep faith and our spirit.

In his final days at the White House, president Trump signed an executive order on January 18 that prohibits career bureaucrats from authorizing and having the final say on federal rules. The purpose of this executive order is to ensure that the American people have a role in choosing the individuals who govern them.
