Island Camping | Pensacola Region Adventure

For part 2 of “Camping at Fort Pickens National Seashore,” we continued our trip by making breakfast burritos. Once done with breakfast, we drove over to the University of West Florida for some mountain bike riding. Pensacola Off-Road Cyclists (P.O.R.C.) have made some amazing MTB trials.Show more

After riding, we wanted to make a stop at Joe Patti’s Seafood to pick up some red fish. We left Pensacola and drove back through Gulf Breeze, Pensacola Beach to Fort Pickens. The next morning we toured the Fort Pickens historical military base. Next, we went back the one of the whitest beaches in the world.

That evening we cooked blackened red fish, coconut rice, and sautéed squash and zucchini. The next morning we broke down camp, left, and headed over to George Bistro + Bar for an amazing breakfast.
