Recently, YouTube has created a new policy where they said they will delete "any piece of content uploaded today (or anytime after) that misleads people by alleging that widespread fraud or errors changed the outcome of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, in line with our approach towards historical U.S. Presidential elections." https://blog.youtube/news-and-events/supporting-the-2020-us-election/

How is actual evidence of election fraud "misleading"? What is YouTube afraid of?

How does YouTube know that there wasn't fraud in the presidential election? YouTube is suggesting that there is an official narrative of the presidential election of 2020 that cannot be challenged in any manner whatsoever. This may even make it difficult to report on the various court challenges, vote irregularities, and testimony from individuals who have seen first hand evidence of widespread voter fraud. How can YouTube state that this material is not in the public interest? Also, YouTube takes extra efforts to push people towards so-called "authoritative sources"--but it is the same failed media that people do not trust. If people actually wanted to watch the failed media, they would be on the web sites of the failed lamestream media, not YouTube. The purpose of YouTube was to provide individuals with the power to express their view. It is up to the users--not some centralized bureaucracy like YouTube--to determine what is true, credible, and worth watching. The fact that we have elections at all suggests that individuals have to make decisions about important issues, not some anonymous people at YouTube. Who made YouTube in charge of our elections?
