South Africa - Cape Town - 26 February 2020 - South African National Parks (SANParks) hosted a media familiarization trip to Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) on the 26th of February 2020. The objective of this trip is to allow the members of the media an opportunity to learn about the intricacies of managing a national park such as TMNP. As part of this event, members of the media were exposed to the operational procedures of the outlook of TMNP, a day in the life of a ranger, crime and reactive simulation, fire management and resource deployment and a demonstration from the SANParks K9 unit.
