Mayo Clinic researchers reported a strong hint that blood plasma from COVID-19 survivors may help.
The plasma of recovered patients may help other patients recover, reports CNN.
However, it’s not completely proven and some experts worry.
Amid the clamor for treatment, many experts believe we may not get a clear answer.
More than 64,000 patients in the U.S. have been given convalescent plasma.
This is a century-old approach to fend off flu and measles before vaccines.
It’s a go-to tactic when new diseases come along but it is not always effective.
